Is my password stored or sent anywhere?
No. It is made inside your browser and kept only on this page until you leave. It is never saved, logged or sent.
How random are the passwords?
They use your browser's secure random number generator, the same kind used for encryption, and every character is equally likely.
What does the strength number mean?
It is the password's entropy in bits, worked out from its length and the number of possible characters. More bits make it harder to guess.
Why leave out look-alike characters?
Characters such as O and 0, or l and 1, are easy to mix up when you type a password by hand.
